ANVE: the private AI office, on the record. See what that means

ANVE

Private AI glossary · updated 2026-10-06

AI appliance.
Defined in plain words, for offices deciding how to use AI.

Short answer. An AI appliance is a self-contained device that ships with hardware, AI models and ready applications, set up and maintained by the vendor, so an organisation can plug it into its network and start using AI without building a stack. It differs from a bare AI server or workstation, which arrives empty and needs an engineer, and from cloud AI, which processes data off-site.

01

Why it matters for an office

Most offices that buy “an AI server” end up with one engineer’s project. An appliance moves that work to the vendor.

02

How ANVE uses it

ANVE is an AI appliance for offices: seven makers, named users, roles and an audit trail on one device. No sealed unit exists yet; our own unit is in design and the software runs today on a development machine.

03

Questions people ask

AI appliance or AI workstation?
A workstation such as a DGX Spark is for people who build AI. An appliance is for people who use it. See our comparison.
04

What is not real yet

No sealed ANVE unit exists; every image of the appliance on this site is a labelled render. The software runs today on a development machine. No customers yet, no certifications, no delivery date, and the final price is not announced.

Reservations are ₹999 in India or US$12 elsewhere, refundable in full until you confirm an order in writing (terms). Offices that cannot use cloud AI can apply to be one of ten design partners.
