ANVE: the private AI office, on the record. See what that means

ANVE

Private AI glossary · updated 2026-10-06

On-premise AI.
Defined in plain words, for offices deciding how to use AI.

Short answer. On-premise AI means the AI models run on hardware physically inside the organisation’s premises, on its own network, rather than in a vendor’s data centre. Data does not have to leave the building for the model to work. The trade-off is that someone has to provide the hardware, user accounts, updates and support, which cloud services otherwise handle.

01

Why it matters for an office

It is the simplest answer to “where does our data go?”: nowhere. That makes it easier for compliance teams to approve, and it removes per-token cloud bills.

02

How ANVE uses it

ANVE packages on-premise AI as an appliance: the hardware plus the office layer (named users, roles, audit trail, makers, managed updates), so the office does not need an AI engineer.

03

Questions people ask

Is on-premise AI expensive?
Entry hardware is now affordable: mini PCs with a 50 TOPS NPU start around US$500 without memory. The larger cost is usually the software and support around it.
04

What is not real yet

No sealed ANVE unit exists; every image of the appliance on this site is a labelled render. The software runs today on a development machine. No customers yet, no certifications, no delivery date, and the final price is not announced.

Reservations are ₹999 in India or US$12 elsewhere, refundable in full until you confirm an order in writing (terms). Offices that cannot use cloud AI can apply to be one of ten design partners.
