Can AI draft letters in our house style?
Yes. Give it your letters and your rules, and keep a person to sign.

Short answer. Yes, as a first draft. There are three ways to teach a model your house style, from lightest to heaviest: put a short style guide and a few model letters in the prompt; retrieve similar past letters for each new one; or fine-tune the model on your letters. The first two need no training and work with local models. The result can match tone and layout well, but a model that imitates your style can still get facts, dates, amounts and clauses wrong, and a polished letter is easy to sign without reading. Keep a named person responsible for every letter that leaves the office.

Three ways to teach a style

In the GPT-3 paper, Brown and colleagues showed that a model can pick up a new task from a few examples given purely as text in the prompt, with no retraining. That is the idea behind the first method below. Retraining is the heavier route.

MethodWhat you doEffortWatch for
Prompt with examplesGive the model your style guide and three or four model letters of the same type.Lowest. An afternoon. The model may copy details from the examples. Use cleaned examples.
Retrieve past lettersIndex your best letters. For each new one, fetch the closest two or three and show them to the model.Moderate. Needs an index.Old letters carry old prices, names and clauses. Curate what you index.
Fine-tuneTrain a small adapter such as LoRA on a few hundred of your letters.Highest. Needs training data and checks.Good for how to write, weaker for what is true. One study found retrieval beat fine-tuning at adding new facts.
02

What a good style guide contains

  • The salutation and sign-off for each type of letter and recipient.
  • Tone in plain words: formal but warm, no jargon, short sentences.
  • Standard paragraphs and clauses that must be pasted word for word and never rewritten.
  • How to write amounts and dates: for example ₹2,99,000 and 7 October 2026.
  • Phrases the office never uses, and names and titles that must be exact.
  • What to do for Hindi or bilingual letters, including which script the Hindi uses.
03

What a person must still check

  • Every fact, date and amount against the file. A letter in the right voice with the wrong figure is worse than a plain one.
  • Legal and contractual wording. Locked clauses should be inserted by the template, not generated.
  • Names, titles and addresses.
  • Anything copied from the examples that belongs to another client.
  • Hindi text, if used. Llama 3.3 lists Hindi among its eight supported languages and Qwen3 lists Hindi among 119 languages, but quality varies. Have a Hindi reader approve it.
04

How an office would set this up

  • Pick one letter type, such as client follow-up letters, rather than all correspondence.
  • Collect ten good past examples. Remove client names, amounts and anything confidential.
  • Write the one-page style guide and keep the locked clauses in a separate template.
  • Ask the model to draft five letters from real files. Compare them with what staff wrote, line by line.
  • Record who reviewed and signed each AI-assisted letter.
  • Add a second letter type only when the first is working.

What ANVE does today

ANVE runs Private GPTs, assistants built on the office’s own material, which is where past letters would go. Its research maker, Scholar-Atelier, can learn a writing style, though it is built for papers. Full document drafting with design templates is not on ANVE yet, and ANVE does not list letter drafting as a function today.

Private GPTs and Scholar-Atelier run in the development build. No sealed unit exists yet.

Questions people ask

How many sample letters does the model need?
For tone and layout in a prompt, three or four good examples per letter type is a sensible start. Fine-tuning needs many more, typically hundreds, and a way to check the results.
Will it copy confidential details from old letters?
It can repeat what it is shown. Use cleaned examples, and if you index past letters, control who can retrieve them. OWASP lists data leakage across users as a risk of retrieval systems.
Can it write in Hindi?
Open models such as Llama 3.3 and Qwen3 list Hindi among their languages. Quality varies, so have a Hindi reader review the draft against your own samples.
Does using AI change who signs the letter?
No. The person who signs is responsible for the content, whoever or whatever drafted it.

What is not real yet

No sealed ANVE unit exists; every image of the appliance on this site is a labelled render. The software runs today on a development machine. No customers yet, no certifications, no delivery date, and the final price is not announced.

Reservations are ₹999 in India or US$12 elsewhere, refundable in full until you confirm an order in writing (terms). Offices that cannot use cloud AI can apply to be one of ten design partners.
