Private AI for law firms. Client files under privilege stay in the chambers.
Short answer. Law firms hold records that their own rules require them to keep confidential. Advocates may not disclose client communications, document contents or advice without the client's express consent. The duty outlasts the engagement and binds clerks and employees. Pasting client files into a public cloud chatbot hands them to a third party. ANVE is a private AI appliance on the office network, so work such as draft a client memo from meeting notes and summarise a long judgment or case file happens without the records leaving the building, for named users with an audit trail. India has 3,716 district and taluka court complexes plus 39 High Court complexes (eCourts, checked 6 October 2026). We found no citable count of law firms, so we do not quote one.
