ANVE: the private AI office, on the record. See what that means

ANVE

Private AI glossary · updated 2026-10-06

AI audit trail.
Defined in plain words, for offices deciding how to use AI.

Short answer. An AI audit trail is a record of AI use in an organisation: which named user asked which question, which documents the system retrieved, what it produced and who approved the result. It turns AI from an untracked side channel into an accountable system. Institutions need it to answer the question data-protection rules and internal audits ask: who accessed what, and when.

01

Why it matters for an office

Staff pasting files into personal chatbot accounts leave no institutional record at all. An audit trail is what lets a compliance officer approve AI use instead of banning it.

02

How ANVE uses it

ANVE keeps the audit trail on the device: every model call is logged with the user, the app and the model, and every confirmed meeting action records who confirmed it. Agent requests through the API join the same trail when the governed API ships.

03

Questions people ask

Does ChatGPT keep an audit trail for my organisation?
Enterprise plans offer admin and compliance logs in the vendor’s cloud. A personal account used by staff gives the organisation no record.

What is not real yet

No sealed ANVE unit exists; every image of the appliance on this site is a labelled render. The software runs today on a development machine. No customers yet, no certifications, no delivery date, and the final price is not announced.
