ANVE: the private AI office, on the record. See what that means

ANVE

Private AI glossary · updated 2026-10-16

OpenAI-compatible API.
Defined in plain words, for offices deciding how to use AI.

Short answer. An OpenAI-compatible API is an HTTP endpoint that accepts and returns the same request format as OpenAI’s API, such as chat completions. Software written for OpenAI’s SDKs, agent frameworks and coding agents can switch to another model provider, including a local server, by changing the base URL and key. Ollama, vLLM and LM Studio all offer one, which is why it has become the common interface for private and local AI.

01

Why it matters for an office

It lets an office keep the tools and agents it already uses while moving the model inside its own network.

02

How ANVE uses it

The models on an ANVE unit are reachable through an OpenAI-compatible endpoint on the office network, for OpenClaw, Hermes, coding agents and scripts. Per-user keys and audit logging for that endpoint are not on ANVE yet.

03

Questions people ask

Does an OpenAI-compatible API mean data goes to OpenAI?
No. It only means the request format matches. Where the data goes depends on the server you point it at.
04

What is not real yet

No sealed ANVE unit exists; every image of the appliance on this site is a labelled render. The software runs today on a development machine. No customers yet, no certifications, no delivery date, and the final price is not announced.

Reservations are ₹999 in India or US$12 elsewhere, refundable in full until you confirm an order in writing (terms). Offices that cannot use cloud AI can apply to be one of ten design partners.
